A group of pupils from Shoreham College, all of whom rode in the 2008 Challenge, visited Chestnut Tree House in September to hand over a cheque.  The total then was just over £7,000 but has risen now to £8,863.
Our thanks must go to our sponsors who helped to make the event such a great success.  Rabbit skips pledged their support for 2009 before the day was finished back in May 2008 and it is really great to have them back onboard again.  Enterprise Rent-a-Car really came up trumps.  Not only did they provide the funds for  the great food that was available at the end of the ride last year, they also took part and persuaded their company to donate a further £1,000 to Chestnut Tree House.
Quest Adventure in Worthing donated water bottles and energy bars for the younger riders and have pledged their support gain this year.  On the day Feel Good Massage Therapies raised over £90 from riders keen to take advantage of a massage after their exertions on the challenge.  And Honda Cars at Holmbush once more supported the Parents’ Association as they have done many times.
And finally thank you to all of the riders and walkers along with the marshalls and other helpers who worked so hard on the day.
