Bramber castle is located at the southern end of the Downs Link Trail beside the A283 Steyning Bypass. It is the perfect start and end point for the challenge and it’s surroundings provide the ideal picnic spot to finish off the day. The castle is maintained by English Heritage and we ask all joining us on the day to leave the site tidy and ready for the next visitor. Click on the picture to visit English Heritage
Chestnut Tree House is the only Children’s Hospice in Sussex and is run almost entirely on charitable donations. A visit to the tranquil location between Worthing and Arundel by the Association and some of the children that took part in last years Challenge strengthened our resolve to raise even more money this year. With half of the available beds not in use due to lack of funding we just have to do more! Click on their logo to visit their website to see how the money you raise is being spent.
The Downs Link Challenge is organised by the Shoreham College Parents’ Association with support from the pupils and staff of Shoreham College. Click on the Lion to visit the college website.
